For 24 years, I have provided individual, couples and marriage counseling services in Louisville, KY as a licensed psychotherapist. I served at Southeast Christian Church Counseling Ministry for 17 years.

I help clients who are seeking faith-based counseling as well as those who are seeking traditional counseling, or a combination of the two. Faith-based counseling is holistic: treating mental, emotional, relational and spiritual needs. The client determines the extent to which spiritual beliefs, Biblical principles, scripture, prayer, and examination of one's heart is incorporated into the therapy.  For my clients who are seeking a more traditional approach to therapy, I honor and respect their values and beliefs also.

Having been in the field of counseling psychology for over 20 years, I am well trained and experienced in utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities, including, but not limited to, the "gold standard" of therapy: Cognitive-Behavioral therapy and the highly effective Gottman Method Couples therapy. I am a Level Three trained therapist in the Gottman Method and a Gottman Referral Network Approved Provider.

You may have a myriad of mixed feelings about asking for help. Most of my clients felt the same way, yet they found they were able to get the guidance and support they needed to experience change and start achieving their counseling goals in a relatively short amount of time.  In the first few sessions, I will help you determine what you need, and together, we will create a plan for your therapy.

I offer Telehealth (Online) sessions to Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida residents and in-person sessions at my Louisville, Kentucky office.

I take credit, cash, check, HSA and FSA cards as payment.  I am considered out of network regarding insurance, so check with your insurance company about possible reimbursement for counseling sessions. My fee is $135 per session.
