Are you wondering what your purpose is in life?
Do you desire to have a healthy “Biblical” marriage?
Are you a Christian and want to live for God but struggle with how to do that?
Do you need help for mental health issues, relationship challenges, or life transitions and want counseling from someone who respects and honors your beliefs and will not give you guidance that conflicts with that?
…Christian Counseling may be the answer for you.
Many of my clients are Christians, whose faith is integral to who they are, or, they want it to be. I am very experienced and well-trained to provide Christian Counseling, which is often also referred to as Faith-Based Counseling. Faith-based counseling is holistic: treating mental, emotional, relational and spiritual needs. The client determines the extent to which spiritual beliefs, Biblical principles, scripture, prayer, and examination of one’s heart is incorporated into the therapy.
During my career, which includes 17 years working for the Counseling Ministry at Southeast Christian Church, I’ve gained much experience and acquired extensive training and education to help clients seeking counseling that honors, respects and strengthens their faith. For the Christian client whose faith is foundational, experiencing a strengthened or transformed relationship with Christ is usually an important part of the therapy.
