Telehealth Counseling for Adults and Couples in Florida
I provide secure, confidential telehealth counseling throughout Florida for adults and couples seeking experienced, thoughtful, and in-depth therapeutic support. Online therapy allows for focused, consistent work while offering flexibility for busy schedules and geographic distance.
My practice is especially well-suited for clients who want more than surface-level therapy—individuals and couples who are motivated to understand patterns, repair relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change. Many Florida clients choose to work with me through private-pay telehealth counseling, valuing experience, structure, and clinical depth.
I work with concerns including marital conflict, infidelity recovery, trust issues, anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth. I also offer structured and intensive approaches for infidelity recovery, which may include concentrated early sessions followed by ongoing therapy when clinically appropriate.
Who I Work Best With
My work is a good fit for adults and couples who:
- Are motivated to engage thoughtfully in the therapy process
- Want structured, evidence-based counseling rather than quick fixes
- Are navigating relationship strain or rebuilding trust after infidelity
- Value experience, clinical depth, and intentional care
- Are seeking high-quality telehealth counseling in Florida
Many clients come to therapy during seasons of transition or relational stress, while also desiring growth, clarity, and stronger emotional connection.
Clinical Approach
My approach to counseling is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- The Gottman Method for couples
- Attachment-based therapy
- Somatic and neuroscience-informed approaches
Therapy is collaborative, carefully paced, and focused on understanding both emotional patterns and relationship dynamics. The goal is not quick relief, but meaningful and sustainable change.
Infidelity Recovery & Intensive Options
Infidelity can feel destabilizing and overwhelming for both partners. I specialize in infidelity recovery counseling, helping couples navigate the emotional, relational, and decision-making process that follows betrayal.
For some couples, I offer intensive therapy options, which may include focused sessions over a shorter period of time—primarily via telehealth—followed by ongoing counseling. These structured approaches are designed to provide early stabilization, clarity, and direction during a critical time.
Couples considering this work are encouraged to review my
Infidelity Recovery Counseling page for more detail.
Faith-Informed Counseling (Optional)
For clients who desire it, I offer faith-informed or Christian counseling, integrating spiritual values with strong, evidence-based clinical care in a thoughtful and respectful way.
Earlier in my career, I spent 17 years serving in the Counseling Ministry of Southeast Christian Church, working closely with individuals and couples navigating emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns. That experience continues to shape my work with Christian clients who want counseling that is both clinically rigorous and spiritually sensitive.
Faith integration is always client-directed and never assumed.
Limited In-Person Sessions in Florida
In addition to telehealth, I offer limited in-person counseling sessions in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, based on availability and clinical fit. Most Florida clients choose telehealth, but in-person sessions may be an option in select circumstances.
If you have questions about in-person availability, please reach out through my
Contact page.
Insurance & Payment for Florida Clients
Most Florida clients choose private-pay counseling.
Limited insurance coverage may be available for telehealth sessions only through Headway for eligible plans. Insurance benefits vary by provider and must be verified directly through Headway.
